Process & pricing

A clear process for turning business goals into a working website.

Strategy, content, design and development stay connected under one accountable partner, reducing rework and keeping the project moving from the first decision to launch.

What the process protects

The expensive mistakes usually happen before development begins.

A vague objective, late content, conflicting stakeholder feedback or an untested technical assumption can turn a straightforward project into months of rework. I make the critical decisions early, while they are still inexpensive to change.

My process

How it works: 6 stages

  1. 1

    Align

Define what the website must change.

I clarify the offer, audience, business objective, conversion goal, constraints and responsibilities. I identify the gaps and risks before they become expensive design problems.

  2. 2

    Structure

Turn the objective into a plan the website can follow.

I define the priority journeys, page hierarchy, content structure and technical direction. Every page receives a clear role before visual design begins.

  3. 3

    Visual direction

Establish how the product should look, feel and communicate.

I explore the visual language, typography, layout principles and motion direction. Critical pages are designed first so we can validate the direction before expanding it across the website.

  4. 4

    Design system

Turn the approved direction into a consistent production system.

I design the remaining pages, responsive behaviour, reusable components and CMS logic as one connected system rather than a collection of static screens.

  5. 5

    Build

Turn the approved system into a production-ready website, faster.

I build in Webflow or as a custom frontend with a structured CMS, depending on the complexity of the project and how your team needs to manage it after launch. Agentic development speeds up implementation, testing and iteration, but it does not replace judgement: I define the architecture, review the output and approve every production decision.

  6. 6

    Launch

Test, release and prepare the team to operate the website.

I test the conversion-critical journeys across devices, improve performance and accessibility, prepare the SEO foundations and manage the final launch and handover.

Collaboration

Direct access, visible progress and fewer meetings.

You work directly with the person making the recommendations and building the product. Progress is shared at least every two working days through Loom or a working preview, with focused reviews at agreed milestones.

To keep the momentum:

    One decision owner

  2. 02

    Consolidated feedback

  3. 03

    Easy access to content

  4. 04

    Transparent process

Investment

Price follows complexity, risk and responsibility.

Abstract blue point-cloud landscape

Page count matters, but it is rarely the main driver. Investment changes with the amount of strategy required, content readiness, audiences and stakeholders, CMS or data complexity, custom interactions, integrations, localisation, migration, accessibility requirements and launch support.

Before work begins, you receive a written scope, timeline and agreed project fee. Any change that affects budget or timing is discussed before the work continues.
